About Chipping Sodbury Caravans

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in March 2007, Chipping Sodbury Caravans was founded by Mike and Mary Pickford in 1982 on the site of an old petrol station in Badminton Road, Chipping Sodbury and is still a family run company to this day, with day to day running of the company now overseen by Mike and Mary’s son Jamie.

Having sold Bailey caravans since we began trading we have always enjoyed an excellent relationship with the Bailey Company and this has allowed us to maintain our U.K. no 1 status from our early years to the present day. In 1996 the strength of this relationship also led to our decision to become a single franchise, Bailey dealer, and is a statement of our confidence in the product.

The start of the millennium saw the moving of our workshops to purpose built premises in Badminton Road and in 2006, continued growth saw their doubling in size in order to maintain the level of service that we have always prided ourselves on and our customers now expect.

The first ten years of the new millennium have seen many changes within the caravan industry, many well known brands have sadly now fallen by the wayside and passed into history. However, by embracing new technology and innovative forward thinking without losing sight of our family business ethos we are confident we can, together with Bailey Caravans, continue to offer the same high quality and value for money service in the future that we always have in the past.
