Chipping Sodbury Caravans

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in March 2007, Chipping Sodbury Caravans was founded by Mike and Mary Pickford in 1982 on the site of an old petrol station in Badminton Road, Chipping Sodbury and is still a family run company to this day. Having sold Bailey caravans since we began trading we have always enjoyed an excellent relationship with the Bailey Company. This has allowed us to maintain our U.K. no 1 status from 1982 to the present day.

When the company first started trading, Robin and Trophy caravans were sold alongside caravans from Bailey. Over the years the company grew and in 1987, needing other products to supplement the middle to lower end Bailey range we incorporated the then new Coachman Caravans into our portfolio and later caravans from the C.I. and Elddis Range.

However 1996 saw the introduction of the Bailey Ranger which gave us a full range of caravans at unbeatable value for money prices from one supplier, Bailey. After a successful season selling the new range, we took the decision to become sole Bailey dealers, so putting in place the basis on which we have grown, with Bailey over the last ten years. In 2000 we moved our workshops to purpose built premises in Badminton Road and in 2006, continued growth saw the doubling in size of our workshops to help maintain the level of service our customers expect and that we have always prided ourselves on.
