The Bailey Adamo XL 80-5 DL is the five berth, dual lounge layout in Bailey's Adamo XL range, and it already won Any Five or Six Berth Coachbuilt Motorhome at the Caravan & Motorhome Club Design Awards 2025. Built on an 8 metre wide Ford Transit chassis, it gives you two full lounges, two electric drop-down double beds, and around 50 percent more kitchen worktop space than the standard Adamo. If you want serious space for a family or group without stepping up to a bigger motorhome, this is worth viewing before the current unit sells.

Living and sleeping
At the front, the Adamo XL 80-5 DL has a spacious lounge with Aguti convertible travel seats, which fold away with built-in seatbelts, headrests and ISOFIX points for the road, then convert back into comfortable sofa seating once you're pitched up. A freestanding dining table gives you a proper spot to eat, and above the lounge sits an electrically operated drop-down double bed, so nobody has to give up daytime living space for a place to sleep.
The rear lounge works the same way, with its own drop-down double bed above and the option to convert the parallel seating into an additional double as an upgrade. That gives you real flexibility over how the five berths get used, whether that's two couples each with their own end of the van, or a family who wants separate zones for adults and kids. The garage underneath is generously sized, with double doors, a blown air heating outlet, and 230V and 12V sockets, and it's accessible from both sides of the vehicle.
Kitchen
The L-shaped kitchen is one of the biggest upgrades over the standard Adamo, with around 50 percent more worktop space. You get a Thetford 150 litre compressor tower fridge with a 17 litre freezer, a Thetford combined oven, grill and dual-fuel hob, and a round stainless steel sink with a swan neck mixer tap. A drop-down worktop extension and hob cover give you extra space exactly when you need it.
Bathroom
The central washroom is a walk-through design with a separate shower, finished with a gloss white shower cubicle, bi-fold partition door, and an Ecocamel shower head. You also get a Thetford 12v electric flush toilet, a wall-mounted vanity cupboard with a mirrored door, and a countertop wash basin.
